Xylem Vertical Pump Repair

Our Service and Repair Shop recently completed a full rebuild of a Xylem Goulds Water Technology  VIT Vertical Turbine Pump. Upon inspection, we discovered that the bronze impellers were severely worn, along with significant wear on the shafts in the bushing and packing areas.

The rebuild included thorough cleaning, new bushings, and new shafts. Additionally, the customer opted for an upgrade to 316 Stainless Steel impellers instead of bronze, ensuring greater durability and longer service life. Every step of the process was completed using OEM parts, guaranteeing high-quality components paired with the expertise of our skilled Service Technicians.

ITT Goulds Pump Repair

The Edelmann Repair Team recently completed the overhaul and repair of a large ITT Goulds Pumps Model AF 20” x 20” Axial Flow Pump for a local customer.

The repair consisted of the complete disassembly and inspection of the pump and power frame, replacement of bearings, INPRO bearing isolators, and the repair and installation of a John Crane 5620 double mechanical seal.
