Mechanical Seals are an integral part of many pumping systems.    The right seal can protect and extend the life of your process pumps, while saving you downtime. 

Edelmann & Associates offers PPC Mechanical Seals – a complete range of seal designs including single and double cartridge seals, metal bellows seals, split single and double seals, as well as custom engineered seals. Each is available in a broad range of materials and sizes for some of the most demanding applications throughout the process industry. We can even rebuild your existing mechanical seals.

  • 628B Type B Metal Bellows Seal – with flexible element rotating, secondary seals are o-rings.
  • 628C Type C Metal Bellows Seal – with a normally stationary flexible element, secondary seals are flexible graphite.

Series 1500ERB Cartridge Bellows Seal

    • Cartridge design
    • Positioning buttons vs. seal clips do not require removal during installation

    • Tangential flushing directs abrasive particles away from seal faces providing longer face life

  • Stationary springs located outside the product prevent damage from product
  • No press fit of seal faces proved superior performance under extreme conditions without distortion.
  • Internal pumping ring is standard for optimal barrier/buffer fluid flow for heat exchange
  • Temperatures from 0°F to 400°F and pressures up to 300 PSIG
