ITT Goulds Pump Model 3171 – Vertical Sump Process Pump

Goulds Model 3171 Vertical Sump Process Pump is an API 610 11th edition, compliant VS4 sump pump. Model 3171 pumps are installed in thousands of industrial process, sump drainage, corrosive liquids, pollution control, molten salts applications. Model 3171 pumps feature simple mounting systems, with options to fit custom requirements including man holes for access and vapor proof designs.

The Model 3171 pump is offered with a variety of bearing options to meet specific service requirements: optional fluted rubber with rigid shell, bronze, iron and (standard) carbon.

An optional upper stuffing box can be used to provide vapor proof construction with a wide range of sealing arrangements to meet specific requirements for sealing toxic, hazardous, noxious or corrosive fumes. Seal options include packed box, double cartridge seal, dry running seal, or single outside seal.
