Preferred In-Line Design for Cost Savings

Model 3996 in-line pumps are popular because they require minimal floor space. Installation is simple since the unit is mounted directly in the line like a valve, and as a result, installation costs are lower. The pump is not subject to misalignment due to pipe strain or temperature changes, and no field alignment is required.

The 3996 features the preferred flexibly-coupled/integral bearing design. This bearing design is favored over close-coupled in-line pumps, which are difficult to service, or rigid-coupled in-line pumps, which have long unsupported shafts.
